COUNTRY AFTERNOON AT KNOX CREEK HERITAGE CENTER

Local crafters and artisans have been invited to participate in the annual Country Afternoon at the Knox Creek Heritage Center in Brantwood. Local ga rdener's are invited to bring their extra produce for sale. Homemade bread
 and cardamom braid are for sale.

All of the buildings are open to visitors to view the artifacts that have b een collected that illustrate our area's history. A farm house is furnished
 in period style. There is are exhibits about the logging era, the schools in the area from the late 1800s, the Co-op movement, a log house that has r ecently been restored, agricultural equipment and tools, tractors and a thr eshing machine, a restored sauna, and more. There is no admission charge.

The local quilting group, The Crazy Hearts Quilters, will display and work on their quilts. They also contribute quilted items for a raffle.

There is a Baking Contest and the entries are sold to support the Center.
