The Price County Historical Society receives $1,000 from the county and
$200 from the of Fifield where the museum, one room school house, and
office building are located. The town also cuts the grass on our
property and shovels the sidewalks. This past spring the town did a
major job by removing brush and hauling fill and top soil that had been
donated by a neighbor and member. At one time there had been a water
main leak on the property and that was repaired by the town at no charge
to the society.
Needless to say, we have had some great cooperation from the town crew
and members of the board. We feel especially appreciative to all of them
as they support our cause.

Subject: financial help?
I am looking for information from the other Local History Societies
regarding financial support that you get from your local government
entities. Does your township, town, county government support your
organization? financially? other ways?
Thanks for any info that you can send to me.
