Hi, Ruth,

The Chippewa Valley Museum has six levels of annual membership: Regular $30
; Sustaining $50; Associate $80; Heritage Club $150; Pathfinder $250; Carso n Club $500 and Ingram Society, $1,000. These are household memberships. Al l include admission to the museum. From Heritage Club up, you may also have
free admission for your accompanying guests.

For each level from Heritage Club up, there is a corresponding Life Members hip category. The Life Membership is created with an endowment gift of 20x the annual rate. This is based on the theory that our investments will prod uce an average of at least 5% per year so that investment income from the l ife membership is equal to the annual rate. (Which is true over the long te rm.) So a Heritage Club Life Membership is created with an endowment gift o f $3,000, etc.

Let me know if you have more questions, Susan McLeod Director Chippewa Valley Museum

We are interested in knowing what your present membership dues are and if y ou have more than one class of dues. Do you have a lifetime membership cla ss?? We are contemplating a proposed increase in dues with our next budget
. Has the downturn in the economy made a difference in your membership ret ention or other monetary donations to your organization?

Thank you for your comments.
