The Midwest Office of the National Trust for Historic Preservation is pleas
ed to announce that registrations are now being accepted for our fundraisin
g workshop, The Buck Starts Here: Fundraising for Small Preservation Non-Pr
ofits.

istory.org/localhistory/workshops> For your convenience, you can print and
use the attached PDF file which includes a registration form.
You will want to get your registration in as soon as possible, as participa
tion is limited to 50 people. The Conference Planning Committee identified
several organizations for priority registration. We will accept registrati
ons from your group on a first come, first served basis until Monday, Augus
t 22nd or until the 50 seats are filled. After August 22nd if the workshop
is not filled, we will open the registration to all interested parties so
get your registrations in as soon as possible.
Scholarships are available to cover participants’ workshop costs (registr
ation, hotel & travel costs) up to a maximum of $500.00. Eligible applican
ts include directors and board members of small non-profit preservation org
anizations, local historic preservation societies, and house museum directo
rs and board members. The postmark deadline for scholarship applications is
