Hi all. Please see the attachment flyer for the up coming Aztalan Day on Sunday July 1st 2012. Events include a powerpoint presentation by renowned artist and rock art expert Geri Scrab. Geri will focus her presentation and discussion on the rock art of this region. There will also be a DNR Ranger program on Falconry by DNR Ranger Jake Pace and his Falcon "Crush", and an Atlatl Demonstration by expert Atlatl throwers. This is a Friends of Aztalan event in conjunction with Aztalan Day put on by the Lake Mills Aztalan Historical Society. There will also be live music, food, quilt displays, a flint knapper,and other vendors to explore. The Church museum and historic site will be open. The Museum on site displays many great artifacts recovered from Aztalan.
