The Wisconsin Federation of Museums is pleased to announce that it is accep ting applications for both the WFM Mini-Grant Program and the WFM Awards of
 Excellence.

The Mini Grant Program awards up to $500 to assist member institutions bett er preserve, exhibit and interpret their collections; to improve the profes sional skills of staff; to enhance technological capabilities; and to bette r serve their communities.

The Awards of Excellence Program is designed to recognize the contributions
 that Wisconsin museums of all sizes and disciplines, and the individuals w ho work and volunteer in these institutions make to the profession, their c ommunities, their institutions and the museum field through the annual pres entation of the Ann Koski Professional Excellence Award, the Institutional Excellence Award, and the Volunteer Excellence Award.

The deadline for applications is September 15, 2012. More information, alo ng with application information and forms, can be downloaded from the Wisco nsin Federation of Museums website at www.wisconsinmuseums.org<http://www.w isconsinmuseums.org>. Please note that the Grants and Awards have two sepa rate pages and sets of requirements. Each category has both a Microsoft Wo rd and PDF Version of the appropriate forms.
