You are invited to the Richfield Historical Society for two interesting pro grams at the end of this month:

Regular monthly meeting, Thursday, Mar ch 27, 7:00 p.m., Richfield Village Hall, 4128 Hubertus Road, Hubert us, WI Program: Milwaukee, The Most Germanic City in the Country


with speaker, Paul G. Hayes. Mr. Hayes will focus on research conce rning the George Brumder Publishing Co., the largest German language publ isher in the United States. He will include some information relative to Richfield as well as its first settler, Philip Laubenheimer. The progra m is free; refreshments will be served.

Maple Syrup Family Day, Saturd ay, March 29, 1:00 p.m., Richfield Historical Park, Richfield, WI Entra nce is at the Nature Park, 1896 Hwy 164. Learn how maple trees are tapped
 and sap gathered from the tapped trees; see how the sap is boiled into d elicious syrup. Demonstrations at 1: 15 and 2:30. Syrup from this year's ta pping will also be available for sale. Free admission for the program.Â
  Tours of the historic Messer/Mayer Mill and Mill House will be given
(Adults, $5; Ages 6-12, $3; Under 6, free
) Food will be availa ble for sale.
