The Dunn County Historical Society and Menomonie Blue Caps are hosting the
second Reedsburg Vintage Base Ball Festival on Saturday, August 15th at Web
b Park (Reedsburg, Wis.).
The event will consist of 1860s-era base ball, with five different teams: M
enomonie Blue Caps, Rum River Rovers, Mankato Baltics, Rochester Roosters a
nd St. Croix BBC (Stillwater, Minn).
Base ball, a concession stand, souvenirs and raffle are just part of what y
ou will experience throughout the day. First match is at 8:30am and will be
a 1-hour time limit, or 9-innings, whichever comes first.
Come out and enjoy base ball... "the way it was meant to be played."
