Washington county retired teachers has done two editions. I put together the first one for them that they wanted to be printed through a local printer. If you contact historyisfun.com, they can direct you to the right dept. for information...probably Heather in research. I'd personally discourage you from going through those expensive private for profit printing companies unless you have had great experiences with one and are comfortable with the process and cost of project and product. The Bayfield County Historical Society is working on a book about all the schools that were part of Bayfield County.  We are gathering lots of information and getting ready to put it in a book for.

We are wondering if any other counties in Wisconsin have done this.  If so, could you get us contact information so we can see how they handled some of the logistics?  We'd appreciate your help with this.  It's a big task.
