(Please excuse duplicate posting.)
Greetings:
It's mid-summer, so the Wisconsin Historical Records Advisory Board (WHRAB) is planning for upcoming fall conferences. The WHRAB is once again offering three $300 professional development scholarships to record keeping professionals, graduate students preparing for careers in archives administration, or volunteer archivists in Wisconsin repositories. These scholarships are for the purpose of undergoing further training and education on pressing archival issues or best practices by attending professional conferences.
The fall conferences the scholarship recipients are eligible to attend are:
* The Midwest Archives Fall Symposium<http://www.midwestarchives.org/> in Ann Arbor (October 7-8)
* The Wisconsin Historical Society's Local History and Historic Preservation Conference<http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/Content.aspx?dsNav=N:4294963828-4294963805&dsNavOnly=N:1177&dsRecordDetails=R:CS3325> in the Wisconsin Dells (October 21-22)
* The Digital Library Federation Forum<https://www.diglib.org/> in Milwaukee (November 9-10)
The application is Friday, August 26 at midnight. Please submit all your application materials (attached) to: Tanya.vankirk@wisconsinhistory.org<mailto:Tanya.vankirk@wisconsinhistory.org>, with the subject headline: WHRAB Professional Development Scholarship.
The travel scholarships are co-sponsored by the WHRAB and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, the granting arm of the National Archives and Records Administration.
We look forward to your submissions.
All the best,
