Subject: Press release
For immediate release:
Human Skull found at the Waupun Historical Society "James C. Laird" museum
of local History.
The skull apparently came from a cadaver. Dr Ampthere, a dentist in Waupun
used it to instruct perspective dental students. Apparently, the skull was
given the name Napoleon by former owners. The decision was made to build a
medical history exhibit around Napoleon.
In honor of the 100th anniversary of WWI, the Waupun Historical society is
preparing a WWI exhibit and will be open 29 May 2017 from 11:00-14:30. If
you possess any thing from 1914-1918 such as weapons, uniforms, letters home
or any thing else you would consider placing on loan or donating to the
historical society in order to help us tell the story of Waupun residence
whom served or lived through the war to end all wars please contact us.
