* We are open Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 - 4:30; Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 4:30.

* The same people work all day, but not the same people work every day we're open.

* The curator/property manager is here Tuesday - Thursday and we have alternating people here on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

* All curators/guides are paid.

* The curator/property manager is paid hourly and at a much higher rate than the "weekend" curators. He is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the property and making sure the weekends are covered.

Hope that helps.

Doing a survey to see what other Museums are doing that have Curators/Guides. Looking for answers to the following questions.

What hours are your Museums open?

Do the same people work all day, or do you have split shifts?

How often does 1 person work in a week (days in a week)?

Are you paid or is it a volunteer position?

If you are paid, what type of compensation do you receive?

Any other information you might have that would be helpful would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Cathi Malke
