Good Morning,
This September marks the 25th Annual Historic Day at New Berlin's
Historic Park. It is scheduled for Sunday, September 10th from noon to
4pm. The Park is located at 197th and National Avenue.
National Avenue will be closed for this event, so free parking and
shuttle buses will be available at Prospect Hill Garden Center, just east
of the Park.
Grounds open at noon; all the historic buildings and our museum will be
open; at 2pm there will be an Antique Parade followed by Storytelling in
the school house. Enjoy the music of "The Blue Grass Allstars" from 3-4pm.
This will be the 6th year for the *Plein Air* painting show and sale.
You will find the art in the Weston Barn.
Wander the grounds to see a flintlock rifle demonstration, enter the
raffle, tour the apple orchard and buy some treats to eat.
