Hello, All - please join us in New Glarus, Wisconsin on Sunday, October 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for our annual Harvest Fest, a family-friendly day that brings history to life.

All fourteen of our historical buildings at our Swiss Historical Village & Museum will be open and guides will be available to share the unique history of New Glarus. In addition, we will have volunteers demonstrating traditional crafts and trades such as basket making, quilting, cheese making, weaving, soap making, blacksmithing, and how to make sauerkraut. There will also be a variety of hands-on activities for children. In addition, horse-drawn wagon rides from downtown New Glarus to our Swiss Historical Village & Museum will be available from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

A special reduced admission of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children will be charged for Harvest Fest.

Owned and operated by the non-profit New Glarus Historical Society, the Swiss Historical Village & Museum - located at 612 7th Avenue - is open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. seven days a week through October 15th. Please visit our website at: www.swisshistoricalvillage.org
