Mount Horeb Moonlight Gala Returns November 3 to Benefit Norsk Golf Club and Driftless Historium
Enjoy a nostalgic night out and feel good about it!
Thrivent Community of Thrivent Financial-Mt Horeb will host its second annual Moonlight Gala on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Deer Valley Lodge in Barneveld. This year’s Gala will benefit the Mount Horeb Area Historical Society’s new Driftless Historium and Norsk Golf Club, Mount Horeb nonprofits working hard to jumpstart their family-friendly facilities.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception where guests will have a chance to mingle, throw their hat into the ring on an array of unique silent auction offerings and fun raffle opportunities, and sample a variety of heavy appetizers. The reception will be followed by an evening of dancing to the sentimental and captivating sounds of The Brian Whitty Group.
Tickets to Moonlight Gala are $45 per person, with two drink tickets included. “Reserved Tables” for eight or ten, located in prime viewing locales and featuring exclusive table service, are available for $550 and $650 each. Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.com (search for “Mount Horeb Moonlight Gala”) or in person at Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce (300 E Main St) or Thousand CPA (1728 US-18 BUS, Mt Horeb).
Attire is dressy, with garb from sport coats and cocktail dresses, to suit jackets and evening gowns welcome. It’s all about having a good time-so guests are encouraged to come as they are comfortable. In the spirit of fun, awards will be given for Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female, and Most Dapper Duo.
100% of event proceeds, including ticket sales, raffle income and silent and live auction intake, will provide support for the Driftless Historium, a three-part history campus located in the heart of downtown Mt Horeb and the Norsk Golf Club, a multiuse recreational property that preserves the Village’s largest greenspace.
