I am involved with a tourism group in Burnett County - we are called Burnett County Tourism Coalition. It involves local businesses, hotels, restaurants, stores, museums, etc. We do an annual fundraiser and work together to create combined marketing efforts for the county. We have monthly board meetings and quarterly membership meetings, but there's no set times and places to advertise. We have a website called burnettcountyfun.org.

Hello all, The field services staff are interested in creating a list of groups that are meeting at a county, regional, or other local "level" on a regular basis to discuss common goals, issues, and to collaborate on programs, exhibits, or other projects. If you are involved in such a group, please email me some basic info about your group and when/where you meet. We hope to create a directory of such alliances so we can better connect our local history community!Thank you, Janet Janet Seymour, Northern Region Local History-Field ServicesOffice of Programs and Outreach Wisconsin Historical Societyc/o Department of History, UW-Eau Claire105 Garfield Avenue Eau Claire WI 54701715-836-2250janet.seymour@wisconsinhistory.org Wisconsin Historical SocietyCollecting, Preserving
