Rhubarb Festival Saturday, June 16, 10 AM to 3 PM
Shawano County Historical Society invites one and all to its 10th Annual Rh
ubarb Festival at Heritage Park, featuring the famous rhubarb desserts and
brats, Amish ice cream, a Rhubarb Pie Contest, children’s activities, a s
ilent auction, and living history demonstrations. Enjoy live music all day
on the grounds and in the Old Tabor Church. Drive, walk or take the bus fro
m the Farmer’s Market parking lot. The free shuttle bus runs back and for
th from 10 AM to 3 PM. Museum admission is free during festival hours, fro
m 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, June 16.
The theme for featured museum exhibits this summer is “Let’s party like
it’s 1918,” to commemorate the end of World War I a century ago. A vic
tory garden has been planted near the Old Tabor Church. All museums are ope
n to the public every Saturday this summer from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For mo
