Subject: New resources for digitization projects from Recollection Wisconsin

The Recollection Wisconsin <https://recollectionwisconsin.org> program has recently updated our website with a Digital Projects Toolkit
<https://recollectionwisconsin.org/toolkit>, a free set of resources to support digitization projects. The Toolkit includes a project planning worksheet, basic scanning techniques, copyright guidance, metadata templates and more. We also have a team of experts on hand who are donating time to assist local historical societies and other organizations in planning digital projects.

In the attached case study, you can read about how one of our Content Partners, the Langlade County Historical Society in Antigo, worked with us to share their historic railroad and logging photo collections online. A description of Recollection Wisconsin's services available to local historical societies and other organizations is also attached.

As a Service Hub for the Digital Public Library of America
<https://dp.la> (DPLA), Recollection Wisconsin brings together the riches of Wisconsin's libraries, archives, historical societies and museums and shares them with the world. The program is a collaboration of WiLS (Wisconsin Library Services), Wisconsin Historical Society, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Madison, Milwaukee Public Library and Marquette University.

If you have any questions about Recollection Wisconsin or DPLA, please feel free to reach out to me or to a member of our statewide Steering Committee
<https://recollectionwisconsin.org/about/governance#steering> in your area!

Thanks, Emily
