Join us at the Mount Horeb Public Library (105 Perimeter Rd) as Kevin Hampton, Curator of History at the Wisconsin Veteran s Museum, explores the legacies and stories of some of the over 122,000 Wis consinites that served in WWI.

This lecture event is the final installment of six scheduled speakers on th e topic of WWI, a 2018 Driftless Historium-Mount Horeb Public Library partn er endeavor. The November 1918 armistice, which took effect on “the eleve nth hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month,” ended four years of devastating conflict across the globe and marked a hard-fought victory for Allies Britain, France, Russia, Italy and the United States.
