Would you like more people to know about your organization’s site and all
that it has to offer? Are you looking for an exciting way to reach out to
visitors traveling through the St. Croix River watershed? Do you find tha
t getting the word out is one of your biggest challenges for your organizat
ion and the site you support?
In this free webinar, Dr. David Trowbridge, creator of the Clio website and
mobile app, will explain how you can build a virtual tour of your sites at
no cost using these innovative tools. With a growing selection of more tha
n 30,000 entries and more than 700 walking/driving tours, Clio—a complete
ly free app developed with support from NEH and others—already guides tho
usands of people to nearby historical, cultural and natural sites each day.
The app’s new features, developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic,
allow organizations to build a virtual tour without cost or any special equ
ipment in less than a day!
Whether your site is large or small, in town or in the country, visitors t
o the St. Croix River watershed will be able to find you…even if they don
’t know you yet…because Clio’s data base is easily searchable by area
/region/state or by category. Visit www.theClio.com<http://www.theclio.com
/> to see examples of walking tours, museum tours and natural sites.
