We have never used the "sustaining" term. Our Membership Dues are:
    Individual        $10
    Family
  $17
    Business        $50
    Lifetime        Â
  $250

When we send out the annual renewal letter, we ask members if they would al so like to include an additional donation  At that time we also send a
letter to lifetime members soliciting a donation.  The donation reque st has worked out pretty well. Pete SchumacherOak Creek Historical Society

I and others were not familiar with the term or usage and have suggested discontinuing 'sustaining' memberships.

How prevalent is the term used "in the business"? Does your group use it?

Thank you ahead for any responses.
