THE NEW BERLIN HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS SPONSORING THE 28TH ANNUAL HISTORIC
DAY ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH AT THE HISTORICAL PARK, 19765 W, NATIONAL
AVENUE.
Ground open at Noon - Parade at 2PM - Storytelling in the schoolhouse at
2:30PM.
Tour all historic buildings, including the Freewill Baptist Church and the
Weston Antique Apple Orchard.
Kids can ride the barrel train through the orchard and try Grandma's old
washing machine. Learn how barrels are made, watch flintlock rifle
demonstrations and wool being spun.
Check out our Band Organ and listen to the music of the Bluegrass All Stars
from 3-4pm.
Free Admission.
Free shuttle bus from Prospect Hill Nursery to the Historic Park.
Lunch, homemade desserts and drinks available.
