The Badger History Group (BHG) invites you to our next lecture of the 2022- 2023 season on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 7:00pm with BHG Board President Verlyn Mueller who will present the talk, Who Were Those People Who Lived H ere Before March 1, 1942.

March 1, 1942 was the date on which the Sauk Prairie landowners had to vaca te their land. Verlyn will tell what prairie life was like before the centu ry-old farm community met an abrupt end. The family photo is the John Peter

In addition to serving as BHG Board President, Verlyn Mueller is also Archi vist of the BHG Collection and Director/Curator of the Museum of Badger Arm y Ammunition. A native of Prairie du Sac, he worked at BAAP for 26 years an d has been a leading force in BHG since its founding. In addition to his kn owledge about the Plant era, he has also been researching those who lived i n and around Badger and their geneaology.

This will be a hybrid event starting at 7pm, via Zoom and in-person at the Museum of Badger Army Ammunition. In the Museum, masks are optional. Seatin g is limited for both museum and zoom, so registration is recommended. Zoom
