Hey Paul,
We have a monthly recurring gift option on our online donation forms,
and we are trying to build up our roster of recurring monthly donors
right now. We do the basic setup through our donor management software,
and then I’m working on several campaigns to make the option
more visible and appealing to donors. It was strongly advised as a great
option by a fundraising coach, so we’re working on expanding it,
but right now we have a limited number of monthly givers.
I’d be happy to do a quick phone call with you if you’d
like to discuss the details on how it’s worked for us and what
our experiences have been - although we’re still in the midst of
it! Short answer, I would say it’s always a really good idea.
