Greetings from the FHAW Board of Directors,
Our Association has now posted the announcement for the Fall Conference at our website. The story to be told is unique in American History---and in Sustainable Forestry. It is also an issue uniquely 'Wisconsin'. The subjects being covered have national interest and we expect participation from a wide body of scholars and individuals from the natural resource community. While participation for the tour and conference will need to be limited, the webinars will not be limited.
Outreach has been made to teachers from K-12s within the School Forest Program and the Wisconsin Indian Educators Association Educators Association. Historical Societies with ties to Indigenous Communities in Wisconsin may wish to consider early registration for attendance.
Online registration is available at https://www.foresthistoryassociationwi.com/
Print copies of the Conference Brochure and Press release are attached below.
Perhaps we will see you there to join the discussion and plan future collaboration.
best regards,
John Grosman, for the FHAW Board of Directors
