FORT WINNEBAGO SURGEONS QUARTERS IN PORTAGE, WI - A HISTORIC PROPERTY
QUALIFICATIONS: YOU MUST LOVE OLD BUILDINGS!
Our historic property is looking for a Site Manager full-time Wednesday thr
ough Sunday, seasonally March 1 through November 1. Our Site Manager will c
oordinate and manage employees and volunteer docents, open and close the pr
operty daily, conduct tours from a script highlighting the site and artifac
ts inside the log cabin and Garrison Schoolhouse, assist with events on sit
e, complete daily site reports, and perform daily housekeeping and gift sho
p tasks. Training will be provided.
Must have a high school degree and reliable transportation to apply.
We are looking for great communicators to tell our story. Museum Studies ed
ucation, previous historic property employment, graphic design skills, and/
or management experience are a PLUS! Wages are $20.00 per hour. The propert
y is open for the season May 15 - October 15; working hours are 9:30 a.m. -
4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
