War Protest Reminder: Various peace groups are invited to join Women in
Black this Saturday, December 4, noon-1:00, corner of 53/Brackett, Eau
Claire. The Women in Black ask that all participants follow their
nonpartisan, nonviolent, and silent guidelines. (We do not have to be
women or wear black :)
Upcoming Peace Events:
Monday, December 6, 6:15-7:00. Meet by the clock tower on UWEC campus
and protest outside Davies prior to Iraq War vet Sarra's talk.
Saturday, December 11, noon-1:00: Various peace groups are invited to
joing the Progressive Student Association on State Street (between
Lincoln and Garfield) for a protest. PSA will provide a speaker for the
event. The Eau Claire Peace Coalition will be canvassing neightborhoods
next week Wednesday and Thursday to increase community awareness and
involvement.
Please attend as many of these events as you can, please invite your
friends and neighbors, and please forward this to people who oppose the
war.
