Saturday, April 30, 2005 30th Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war. Starting at noon Women in Black and a veterans' group will stand on either side of the intersection of Bracket and Hwy 53. Both welcome your presence and involvement. The WIB will hold a silent peace vigil; the Veterans & friends will allude by their presence, signs and voice to a mission NOT accomplished, to the current tragedy of aggression in Iraq and the Middle East, as well as to recognize and honor those whose lives were changed forever as a result of the Vietnam conflict.
