With luck and our continued hard work,we hope to be successful in stopping
the jail project. But it's going to take effort from all of us! Please con
sider coming to the Plan Commission and City Council meetings - even if you
do not plan on speaking - your presents is needed.
Please encourage your friends and neighbors to contact their representative
s to voice their displeasure with the project. (Contact info is attached)
On August 26th, the City Council will vote on whether or not to reject the
County's request to rezone the proposed property for the new jail. Encoura
ge everyone to attend the following meetings to show the breadth of our opp
osition to this proposal. We need your help, so please join us . . .
