Farm Life:
A Century of Change for Farm Families
and Their Neighbors
The Mineral Point Historical Society is pleased to announce
the opening of our new exhibit, Farm Life: A Century of Change
for Farm Families and Their Neighbors.
The exhibit explores the Mineral Point area's agricultural history
through
stories, photographs, and artifacts provided by local farm families.
We are also displaying a traveling exhibit about agriculture
in Wisconsin which was developed by the Chippewa Valley Museum.
The exhibit will be on display at
203 High Street
(corner of Chestnut & High Streets)
June 27 - October 19, 2008
Open Friday, Saturday (12-5), Sunday (12-3)
Admission - $5.00
Ticket is good for free return visits all summer
one free tour of Orchard Lawn/Gundry House
and discounted admission at local museums
Children under 12 are free
