Good morning. In Waupun the WWII honor roll listed the Gold Star Mothers
and the Gold Star Wives. Looking at a photo of your town's WWII Honor
Roll might just give you some help.

hello, mary beth,
thanks for writing. at this moment i have not researched the
names of gold star mothers in mcfarland aside from mary nelson (WWI) and
another woman whose son was also killed in WWI. but i want to do that.
other things have sidetracked me lately.
please tell me your mother's name, the name of her son (would it
be?) and the war in which he was killed.
appreciatively,
crystal lokkekn
Hello and thank you for sending me this information. My mother was
a gold star mother in McFarland for many years. Are the names of these
women through the years provided as part of the exhibit? Could you let
me know? Thanks, Mary Beth Wolff Jacobson, Curator, Dodge County
Historical Society Museum, Beaver Dam, Wi.
