"KEEP THE LIGHTS ON" BBQ Fundraiser
The Historic Indian Agency House in Portage invites the public to a “Keep
the Lights On” BBQ fundraiser to be held on its grounds on Saturday, S
eptember 26 from 11AM to 2:30PM. Guests will enjoy a buffet of brats and ho
t dogs, salads, and desserts. Live musical entertainment will be provi
ded by local favorites Mike Powers and Joel Engelland. The winners of the 2
009 Agency House Photography Contest will also be announced at 1PM, and g
uided tours will be available for a nominal fee. Donations will be happily
accepted (suggested donations: $10 adult, $5 twelve years and under), w
ith all proceeds to go towards the Agency House 2010 utilities costs. In 2
008, the Visitors’ Centers bills totaled $975.00. Plan to attend and h
elp this Wisconsin landmark keep its lights on for another season. Call 608
