Sounds of the Season at the Old Courthouse Museum

The Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Percussion Ensemble, the Kettle Mor aine Lutheran High School Show Choir "The Echoes," and 'Selah Strings' will
 perform the sounds of the season during "Christmastime at the Old Courthou se Museum" Friday December 4 - 6. These three musical groups are part of t his festive weekend that includes auction action, carriage rides through th e cultural district, bake sale, and holiday fun.

The festivities begin Friday December 4 at 6:00p.m. with the opening of the
 silent auction. This year's items include a round of golf for four at Wes t Bend Country Club, a Lake Michigan fishing charter donated by Westport Ch arter Service, Biro Stainless Steel Cookware courtesy Regal Ware, Inc., Bil tmore Gift Basket, and lots of items perfect for gift giving. The evening will feature holiday music performed by the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High Sc hool Percussion Ensemble and the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Show C hoir, "The Echoes." This evening is free for all and includes complimentar y refreshments.

The holiday fun continues Saturday December 5, with the Historic Holiday to ur. This year's tour is unique featuring historic downtown West Bend buildi ngs. The tour is only $8 per person and starts from the Old Courthouse Mus eum. Tour hours are 12:00p.m. - 3:30p.m., and are on a first come first se rve basis. The auction will be open and complimentary refreshments will be
 available.

The holiday fun continues on Sunday, December 6, 12:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. This
 will be opportunities to get your last minute bid on that great item. Don
't miss the 1:30 performance of holiday classics by the local trio "Selah S trings." A traditional holiday bake sale featuring home made bakery, candy
 and treats will be available. The silent auction and Holiday Raffle winne rs will also be chosen. Raffle tickets may be purchased at Jeff's Spirits on Main, Glacier Hills Credit Union, M&I Bank, or at the Washington County Historical Society. They are $20 a piece or 3 for $50. First prize is $2, 500 cash. Other prizes include a party for 15 in a Brewers Luxury Box dona ted by Kreilkamp Trucking, and a $1,000 savings bond courtesy Glacier Hills
 Credit Union. There are 12 exciting prizes and only 1,000 tickets will be
 sold.

Entrance to all festivities except the Historic Tour is free. Christmastim e at the Old Courthouse Museum is an important fundraiser in support of the
 Washington County Historical Society. For more information, to donate, or
