We have a liability policy that we pay about 6-7 hundred a year and this
year we took out D & O insurance for the board, and that was 450 per
year. Most everything we have is irreplaceable, but The coverage we
have would buy new cases for display, etc. It is difficult to decide
what to do. The city owns our building and they help with some of the
utilities. We watch our expenses very closely, our staff has no
benefits, and we can't pay them as much as they are worth. I am sure we
are all struggling with the same issues. Most of the time, the issue is
money!
