Come enjoy the last days of summer with a Picnic in the Park at Schumacher
Farm County Park. This month the Friends invite visitors to bring a picnic
lunch, including their own table service (no grilling allowed on
grounds). Small
wagons or totes are helpful for bringing supplies up the path to the main
grounds.
Visitors will be able tour the buildings, stroll the prairie paths, and
participate in family activities. A sing-along will take place in the
air-conditioned farmhouse from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.
Schumacher Farm County Park is located on the eastern edge of Waunakee on
Hwy. 19. Parking is available off of Schumacher Road. Handicap parking
available just east of the main farmhouse driveway For more information,
