Despite challenging times, museums push forward. The Kenosha Public Museums
have completed an expansion project and a similar undertaking is going on
at the Museum of Wisconsin Art. How has this growth impacted us? In this di
scussion, we will share our experiences in collecting, staffing, resource m
anagement and technology.

Adding and Subtracting - Collections Acquisitions and Disposals
Museums often add to and subtract from their collections , but must do so e
thically. Presenters will discuss how they have managed the math situations
by using examples from real situations - such as when whole estates are do
nated or when you need to "clean house" and remove objects from collections
