Subject: Re: microfilm reader

There are quite a lot of different options available for getting newspaper microfilm digitized and online. The $0.33/page cost Tim mentioned is for adding content to the Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers, which is sponsored by the Wisconsin Newspaper Association and available online through BadgerLink: https://badgerlink.dpi.wi.gov/resource/archive-wisconsin-newspapers

The Florence Mining News 1881-1894 is available online in the BadgerLink/WNA database. The Wisconsin Historical Society has put together a map of historical newspapers currently online from different sources including WNA, Chronicling America (Library of Congress) and other databases: https://www.wisconsinhistory.org/wisconsinnewspapers
