Subject: Dodgeville Historic Buildings Tour May 19th!

To celebrate the notable accomplishments of our past, the Dodgeville Historic Preservation Commission is excited to announce a historic buildings tour on May 19th. This exciting event will open historic sites to the public for a self-guided, behind the façade, exploration of the pa st. This celebration of the built environment will open the doors to seven sites including the Jail Cell at the Historic Iowa County Courthouse, the WI Masonic Heritage Center, the Floyd School, the Dodge Mining Camp Cabin, The Auditorium (134 N. Iowa Street), Hahn Billiard Hall (Bob’s Bitc hin’ BBQ), and Potterton Rule Office Building (158 N. Iowa St).

Tickets for this great event are $5 and are available at Dodgevilleâ€
™s City Hall or can be purchased on the day of the event outside of the Iowa County Courthouse. May is Historic Preservation Month, an entertaining opportunity to learn about our community’s built environment. The Dodgeville Hi storic Preservation Commission, with the generous support of private property owners, the Iowa County Historical Society, Iowa County, and the City of Dodgeville hope that you can join us on May 19th for this enjoyable event!!
