Subject: Re: Online Museum store?

Hi Russ:

We have had pretty good results with using Square and the online store functionality that is built in. We are primarily using it for Memberships, Donations and Ticket Sales for events. However, we could add more items from our gift shop if we so desired. It is relatively easy to navigate and since we would need a credit card processing solution for online sales anyway, we decided it was a good option since we were already using it in our gift shop. We operate with the "free" version -- meaning the only costs are the processing fees for credit cards. The other bonus for items that have inventory limits (like event tickets), it takes the quantity as a whole -- so regardless of if they are sold in the gift shop or online, it updates the same item. (Of course, that is in part because we also use it in the physical gift shop as well.)

If you want to talk more, feel free to reach out to myself or our Museum Director, Travis Gross.
