When you are give permission to scan, could those scans be treated the same
as any other donation with a Deed of Gift that specifies the scanned images
may be used for ANY Historical Society project, including selling the
scan.
It seems to me that we need to be a bit more proactive about getting the
rights to use any and all types of materials, for any and all purposes.
I'm eager to see what the Listserve thinks.
