In a parallel organization, the Wisc
onsin Writers Association is reviewing and updating our bylaws to include s
uch language. We discussed the term “virtual” which held di
fferent meanings for different people, and whether or not to include
internet” or any particular type/name of meeting program. We als
o wanted to avoid any insinuation of “voting by proxy” when
people could not attend meetings where a quorum or vote was needed. While
still in draft format, the new language for holding meetings will include t
he phrase “via video/audio connection or in person
