The Burlington Historical Society has reference to an article in the Burlington Free Press dated March 2, 1922. If you are able to get a copy of the article, it should have more information.

F 03-02-1922 No through trains over Soo Line through Burlington from Tuesday through Saturday because of snows, flooding, and icing in central and northern parts of Wisconsin. (Weather)
