Ever feel like hugging those big trees at Badger? Maybe having a picnic or
taking siesta under one on a hot summer day? Or asking, how old are they? T
he Badger History Group (BHG) invites you to our next lecture of the 2022-2
023 season on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 7pm with BHG Board Member, Dan Ha
lling who will present the talk, Badger’s Champion Trees.
A retired history teacher at Sauk Prairie and a BHG board member, Dan will
talk about his quest to locate and measure the largest trees at Badger. He
will answer the who, what, when, where, why, and how questions about this p
roject and show some examples of the exceptional trees on the property.
This will be a hybrid event starting at 7pm, via Zoom and in-person at the
Museum of Badger Army Ammunition. In the Museum, masks are optional. Seatin
g is limited for both museum and zoom, so registration is recommended. Zoom
