To all the friends of the Knox Creek Heritage Center, KCHC will be hosting
our "Finnish Independence Day celebration" scheduled for Saturday, December
2, 2023. We know you've all enjoyed the mojakka cooked in an old cast iron
kettle over a wood fire outdoors and are planning to begin serving around
1:00pm at the Brantwood Community Center. We have a wonderful program
scheduled featuring Michael Laughing Fox Charette. We will be planning to
hold our St. Patrick's/St. Urho's Day celebration on March 16, 2024 at the
Brantwood Community Center. Please see a copy of our poster for this event
attached. I'd like to remind everyone to send in your annual membership so
we can continue to make improvements to our wonderful facilities. We will
be looking for volunteers this spring to help finish the inside walls in the
kitchen area of the pavilion, install "new" kitchen cabinets and sink and
stove from the basement of the main house to the pavilion, please contact
any board member if you have time and the ability, on short notice, to help
with this endeavor. If anyone would like to have a personal tour prior to
