Health Care Listening Session with Congressman Kind Wednesday in Eau Claire

Over 100 participants to share personal health care stories and discuss prospects for national health care reform with the Congressman

Eau Claire: Health Care for America Now (HCAN), an unprecedented coalition of labor unions, community-based membership groups, women’s groups, docto rs, nurses, and small businesses is sponsoring a listening session on healt h care reform Wednesday in Eau Claire.

WHAT: Health Care for America Now listening session with Congress man Ron Kind WHERE: Unitarian Universalist Church, 621 S. Farwell St, Eau Claire WHEN: Wednesday February 18, 4:30-6 PM.

Health Care for America Now is a $40 million campaign to win fundamental he alth care reform this year at the national level. Citizen Action of Wiscon sin is the lead HCAN organization in Wisconsin. Other organizations on Wis consin’s HCAN steering committee currently include AFSCME, SEIU, Wisconsi n Education Association Council (WEAC), Wisconsin State AFL-CIO, and WISDOM
 (the state-wide affiliate of the Eau Claire faith-based organization JONAH
).

Additional members of the Wisconsin coalition include AFT-Wisconsin, Center
