Try your local optomitrist. They sometimes get tabletop display stands for their eyeglasses, some can be transformed into other uses. They don't always have room for a new stand and reuse an old one. So the new one goes in a storage closet.

Wal-Mart carries a tri-fold white foam display board that measures 48" wide and 36" tall. It's in their office supplies area. You can always cover it with material.

I am looking for a resource to purchase a table top stand for displaying postcards. Some of the online stores seem to be expensive. Can anyone make a recommendation?

  Thanks.
