Subject: New Humanities Funding for Brown, Oconto and Kewaunee Counties
The Wisconsin Humanities Council has a new partnership pool we thought you
would like to know about: The Greater Green Bay Area Humanities Fund
offers grant-funding to programs that use history, culture, and conversatio
n to strengthen community life throughout the greater Green Bay area. This
Fund is
made possible thanks to a new partnership between the WHC and generous loca
l donors.
There are no special forms or deadlines for the Greater Green Bay Area Huma
nities Fund. Applicants follow the standard WHC application process and mus
t
comply with the WHC’s general grant guidelines. Please visit www.wisconsi
nhumanities.org/grants for more information about eligible projects, applic
ation forms, and
submission deadlines. All applicants are encouraged to consult with WHC pro
gram staff. Email me, Jessica Becker, at jebecker2@wisc.edu or call 608-263
-3155.
Please take a look at the attached information to learn more about eligibil
ity and to see some examples of public humanities projects.
I look forward to hearing from you!
