I have worked with some Boy Scouts who were earning their Community Service award, and no, we don't have any 'policy'. They also help with the brat feeds we hold in the summer, but not near the grill. By helping them, we have gotten their parents into our Historical Society which is a big plus since most of our help is of the over 70 yrs of age type!

I am interested in knowing if any historical society has a policy for working with youth student volunteers. Is there a policy already written that could be shared and then applied to a society? We have youth who could earn community service points/hours for working on projects within our buildings. Please advise.

Thank you, Barbara Pforr=
