Hi, History Friends!
I work at the Mount Horeb Area Historical Society in Mount Horeb, WI.
We are currently contemplating our Annual Meeting, traditionally held in Oc
tober.
Because of our budget cycle (fiscal year begins Oct 01), postponing the mee
ting would mean operating without an approved budget-something we are hopin
g to avoid.
How do we fulfill this necessity, while safeguarding the health of our memb
ership?
(Our specific bylaws do not explicitly allow for a virtual meeting, and a v
ote of the membership is needed to change the bylaws.)
I was wondering--how are other nonprofits handling this quandary?
How is your organization approaching/how did your organization handle your
2020, pandemic-era Annual Meeting?
Thanks in advance for any insights you can provide!
Best Wishes,
Destinee K. Udelhoven
